I went to McDonalds and got a ice cream there were 3 pieces of sharp plastic in it and 1 I had swallowed. I had called the store and they said everything was fine with the machine and that someone would call me the next day. Well, she never called me the next day. I had to call back, and when I did, she had said the machine was broke and they did find plastic in it. I had asked for head office number and address, I was getting to different stories from this company, and she said that the comments and questions would just get back to that store anyways then offered me a free cone. She finally had let me know that someone will call me in a few days and if not call back. Do I have enough grounds for a lawsuit? I still have the plastic, receipt and packaging.

Do I have a lawsuit if I found sharp plastic in my food?

No.

There is no basis for a lawsuit if there are no damages (physical harm, medical bills, etc.).
