2025 Session Last amended: 2025 session

§ 103D.405 — Revised Watershed Management Plan

Plain-Language Summary

Watershed districts must update their management plan at least every ten years. The revised plan must include updated data, a list of projects to consider, a report on what the district has accomplished, a description of remaining problems, completed study summaries, and an analysis of how well the district's rules and permits are working.

Practical Notes
The ten-year revision requirement ensures watershed management plans stay current. If you want to influence your watershed district’s direction, the plan revision process is a key opportunity for public input. Several subdivisions of this section were repealed in 2024.
