This chapter does not limit a person’s duty to notify the agency and take action related to a release as provided in section 115.061.

Practical Notes
The Compensation Board is the body that decides whether you get reimbursed for petroleum cleanup costs. If you apply for reimbursement, the board reviews your application and determines the amount you receive.
