§ 115C.093 — Corrective Action; Performance Audits

This section addresses the prioritization and selection of sites for the Petroleum Brownfields Program. Sites that pose greater environmental or health risks or have stronger redevelopment potential may receive priority.
115C.093 CORRECTIVE ACTION; PERFORMANCE AUDITS.
The board may contract for performance audits of corrective actions for which reimbursement is sought under section 115C.09, and may contract for audits of other corrective actions. Money in the fund is appropriated to the board for the purposes of this section.

Practical Notes
Not all contaminated sites qualify equally for brownfield assistance. The state prioritizes sites based on environmental risk and the strength of the proposed redevelopment plan.
