§ 14.20 — Approval of Form

14.20 APPROVAL OF FORM.
No rule shall be filed with the secretary of state or published in the State Register unless the revisor of statutes has certified that the rule’s form is approved.

Practical Notes
The Revisor of Statutes acts as a gatekeeper for the format of all rules. This is a form review, not a review of whether the rule is a good idea. An agency cannot bypass this requirement.
