§ 177.45 — Attorney General Enforcement

177.45 ATTORNEY GENERAL ENFORCEMENT.
In addition to the enforcement of this chapter by the department, the attorney general may enforce this chapter under section 8.31.

Practical Notes
If the Department of Labor and Industry is not handling your wage complaint, or if violations are widespread, the Attorney General’s office may also take action against the employer under its consumer protection and enforcement powers.
