§ 245G.17 — Evaluation

Establishes variance and waiver procedures that allow treatment programs to request exceptions to specific licensing requirements under certain conditions.
245G.17 EVALUATION.
A license holder must participate in the drug and alcohol abuse normative evaluation system by submitting information about each client to the commissioner in a manner prescribed by the commissioner. A license holder must submit additional information requested by the commissioner that is necessary to meet statutory or federal funding requirements.

Practical Notes
Programs may request a variance when strict compliance is impossible but the program can meet the intent of the requirement in another way. Waivers are time-limited.
