Plain-Language Summary

After the department seizes your property for unpaid taxes, it must give you written notice of the seizure and then publicly advertise the sale. The owner has the right to request a minimum sale price and to redeem the property before the sale.

Practical Notes
If your property is seized, you may still be able to get it back by paying the taxes owed before the sale date.
