2025 Session Last amended: 1986 session

§ 508.22 — Decree of Registration; Effect

Plain-Language Summary

The decree of registration is final and conclusive upon all persons, including the state. It establishes the title to the property as stated in the decree, subject only to the specific exceptions listed in the law.

Practical Notes
Once the court issues a decree of registration, it is the final word on who owns the property. This is one of the strongest protections available for property title in Minnesota.
