§ 518C.608 — Confirmed Order
Plain-Language Summary
Once a registered support order is confirmed in Minnesota, whether automatically or after a hearing, the person owing support cannot challenge it again on any issue that could have been raised during the registration process.
518C.608 CONFIRMED ORDER.
Confirmation of a registered support order, whether by operation of law or after notice and hearing, precludes further contest of the order with respect to any matter that could have been asserted at the time of registration.

Confirmation is final. This means you cannot later try to relitigate issues that you had the opportunity to raise when the order was first registered. It is important to raise all defenses during the initial contest period.
