§ 523.18 — Signature of Attorney-in-fact as Conclusive Proof of Nontermination

Plain-Language Summary

Makes the signature of an attorney-in-fact conclusive proof that the power of attorney had not terminated at the time of signing, for transactions other than real property.

Practical Notes
For non-real-estate transactions, the agent’s signature itself serves as proof the power was still valid. No separate affidavit is needed.
