§ 103I.345 — Well and Boring Sealing Account

Plain-Language Summary

This section creates the well and boring sealing account in the state treasury. The account receives money from fees, penalties, and repayments, and is used to pay for sealing wells when owners cannot or do not do it themselves.

Practical Notes
The well and boring sealing account is the funding source for state-assisted well sealing. Money comes from well permit fees and enforcement collections. This is the account that funds the financial assistance available under section 103I.335.
