103I.521 FEES.
Unless otherwise specified, fees collected by the commissioner under this chapter shall be deposited in the state treasury and credited to the state government special revenue fund.

Practical Notes
Application fees, license fees, late fees, and permit fees paid by well contractors, boring contractors, and explorers are deposited into the state’s general operating account for regulatory programs. This funding supports the cost of administering the licensing, inspection, and enforcement program for wells and borings statewide.
