§ 103I.691 — Certificate of Use

Before anyone can actually use an underground gas or liquid storage reservoir, they must prove to the Commissioner of Natural Resources that they have legally acquired the right to use the property affected by the project. Once acquisition is documented and filed with the commissioner, the commissioner issues a certificate of use authorizing operation of the storage reservoir.
103I.691 CERTIFICATE OF USE.
A person may not use a gas or liquid storage reservoir under an underground storage permit unless the right to use the property affected by the project has been acquired and a notice of the acquisition filed with the commissioner of natural resources. The commissioner of natural resources must issue a certificate approving use of the gas or liquid storage reservoir.
