Practical Notes
Practicing as a certified midwife without a Minnesota license is a crime, not just a regulatory violation. Using the ‘certified midwife’ title without a license or obtaining a license through fraud are also unlawful. Before providing midwifery services in Minnesota, confirm that your license is current and properly issued by the Board of Nursing.
