§ 268B.05 — Notification of Changed Circumstances

An applicant shall promptly notify the department of changes that may affect eligibility under section 268B.06.

Practical Notes
If something changes while you are receiving benefits, such as returning to work, getting workers’ compensation, or the end of a qualifying condition, you must notify the department right away. Failing to report changes could result in an overpayment that you would have to pay back.
