2025 Session Last amended: 2003 session

§ 37.32 — Tender Option

Plain-Language Summary

The State Agricultural Society can issue bonds that give the owner the right to sell them back (tender) at specified times. The Society must arrange with a financial institution to have funds available to buy back tendered bonds.

Practical Notes
This tender option makes the Society’s bonds more attractive to investors by giving them flexibility to sell bonds back. The Society must have a bank agreement in place to cover any bonds turned in.
