430.001 DEFINITIONS.
§
Subdivision 1.Definitions.
For the purposes of this chapter, the following terms have the meanings given. §
Subd. 2.City.
“City” means a home rule charter or statutory city. §
Subd. 3.City council.
“City council” means the governing body of a city. §
Subd. 4.Residence district.
“Residence district” means the territory contiguous to and including a highway not comprising a business district when the property on such highway for a distance of 300 feet or more is predominantly improved with (1) residences, or (2) residences and buildings in use for business. §
Subd. 5.System of streets, parks, and parkways.
“System of streets, parks, and parkways” means a body of contiguous land designated to be used in part for streets and in part for parks or parkways.
