§ 430.08 — Limit on Assessment Installments

430.08 LIMIT ON ASSESSMENT INSTALLMENTS.
If land is acquired under this chapter for streets, parks, and parkways for less than $3,000, the amount of the assessment for the cost must be collected in less than six equal annual installments.

Practical Notes
For small land acquisition projects costing under $3,000, property owners assessed for benefits will see their charges collected over a shorter period — fewer than six years — rather than spread over 20 years as in larger projects.
