§ 149A.92 — Preparation and Embalming Room

Plain-Language Summary

Funeral establishments must have a dedicated preparation and embalming room that meets specific standards. The room must have non-porous surfaces, adequate ventilation, hot and cold running water, proper drainage, and a locking door. The room cannot be used for other purposes while a body is present.

Practical Notes
