§ 245.4875 — Local Service Delivery System

Each county must build a local system of children's mental health services including prevention, emergency care, outpatient treatment, day treatment, residential care, foster care support, and crisis services, with a local advisory council to guide the system. Services may continue for young adults up to age 21.

Practical Notes
Your county must have a full range of children’s mental health services available, and young adults ages 18-20 may continue receiving children’s services if they were getting them before turning 18.
