§ 336.2-606 — What Constitutes Acceptance of Goods

Plain-Language Summary

A buyer accepts goods by telling the seller they are acceptable, by failing to reject them after a reasonable time for inspection, or by doing something inconsistent with the seller's ownership (like using or reselling them).

Practical Notes
You accept goods by saying so, by keeping them too long without rejecting, or by using or reselling them. Once accepted, returning them is harder.
