§ 336.2-716 — Buyer's Right to Specific Performance or Replevin

Plain-Language Summary

A court can order specific performance (forcing the seller to actually deliver the goods) when the goods are unique or in other proper circumstances. The court can also order seizure of identified goods to secure the buyer's interest.

Practical Notes
If the goods are one-of-a-kind or irreplaceable, a court can order the seller to actually deliver them instead of just paying damages.
