§ 352.97 — Prior Deferred Compensation Plans; Construction

This section states that the deferred compensation plan provisions do not prevent or replace any other deferred compensation plans that were set up before or after this law was passed.
352.97 PRIOR DEFERRED COMPENSATION PLANS; CONSTRUCTION.
Sections 352.965 and 352.97 do not preempt, prohibit, ratify, or approve any other deferred compensation plan established before or after June 3, 1975.

Practical Notes
Other deferred compensation plans can exist alongside the state’s plan. This section makes clear that the state plan does not eliminate any existing employer-sponsored savings plans.
