§ 3E.08 — Public Access to Legal Material in Official Electronic Record

Plain-Language Summary

The official publisher must make sure that preserved electronic legal material is reasonably available for the public to use on a permanent basis.

Practical Notes
This guarantees ongoing public access to electronic versions of Minnesota law. The public has a right to access these materials permanently, not just while they are current. This supports the principle that the law must be freely accessible to everyone.
