§ 513.60 — Waiver
Plain-Language Summary
The seller and buyer can agree in writing to waive the seller disclosure requirement. However, waiving this disclosure does not waive or limit any other disclosure obligations created by other laws.
513.60 WAIVER.
The written disclosure required under sections 513.52 to 513.60 may be waived if the seller and the prospective buyer agree in writing. Waiver of the disclosure required under sections 513.52 to 513.60 does not waive, limit, or abridge any obligation for seller disclosure created by any other law.

Practical Notes
Buyers and sellers can agree to skip the formal seller disclosure if they both sign a written waiver. This is sometimes done in as-is sales. However, this waiver only covers the requirements under sections 513.52 to 513.60 and does not excuse the seller from other legal obligations to disclose, such as lead paint or radon disclosures.
