§ 518C.713 — Record in Original Language; English Translation

Plain-Language Summary

Any document filed in a Minnesota court under the Hague Convention sections must be in its original language. If the document is not in English, it must come with an English translation.

Practical Notes
If you are filing foreign documents in a Minnesota court for an international support case, you need both the original-language version and an English translation. The cost of translation is typically borne by the party filing the document.
