§ 524.2-1106 — When Disclaimer is Barred or Limited

Plain-Language Summary

This section lists situations where a disclaimer is not allowed or is limited, such as after accepting the property, when required by law, or when it would violate a contract.

Practical Notes
You cannot disclaim property you have already accepted, used, or sold. A disclaimer may also be barred if you signed a contract promising not to disclaim, or if a court orders otherwise.
