§ 525A.06 — Amending or Revoking Anatomical Gift Before Donor's Death

Plain-Language Summary

Provides that an anatomical gift made before the donor's death by a person other than the donor is not effective if the donor made a specific refusal of the gift.

Practical Notes
A donor’s own wishes take priority. If you have clearly refused to be an organ donor, no family member or agent can override that decision after your death.
