§ 176.361 — Intervention

Plain-Language Summary

A person or entity that has a direct interest in the outcome of a workers' compensation case can intervene (join) the case. This commonly applies to insurers, the Special Compensation Fund, or other employers who may share liability.

Practical Notes
If another party has a stake in your workers’ comp case (like a second insurer or the state fund), they have the right to join the case to protect their interests.
