§ 3.8853 — Legislative Budget Office

Its director is appointed by the Legislative Budget Office Oversight Commission to a six-year term and may be removed during the term only for cause after a public hearing. The office sets uniform standards for preparing fiscal notes, may obtain state agency data (including some not public data) solely to prepare those notes, and must post each completed fiscal note on its public website within 24 hours of completion.
