2025 Session Last amended: 2003 session

§ 325E.10 — Definitions

Plain-Language Summary

This section requires telephone companies to clearly itemize charges on customer bills and prohibits charging for services the customer did not order. It also requires written confirmation of new service orders.

Practical Notes
Your phone bill must clearly show each charge. The company cannot add services you did not ask for (‘cramming’). If you order a new service, you should receive written confirmation.
