473.801 DEFINITIONS.

§

Subdivision 1.Terms.

For the purposes of sections 473.801 to 473.849, the terms defined in this section have the meanings given them. §

Subd. 2.Local government unit.

“Local government unit” means any municipal corporation or governmental subdivision other than a metropolitan county located in whole or part in the metropolitan area, authorized by law to provide for the processing of solid waste. §

Subd. 3.Agency.

“Agency” means the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency. §

Subd. 4.Application.

Unless otherwise provided the definitions of terms in section 115A.03 shall apply to sections 473.801 to 473.845. §

Subd. 5.Commissioner.

“Commissioner” means the commissioner of the Pollution Control Agency. §
