2025 Session Last amended: 2014 session

§ 82.64 — Reciprocity

Plain-Language Summary

This section allows the commissioner to waive certain education and exam requirements for real estate licensees from other states. The waiver is available if there is a reciprocal agreement between Minnesota and the other state, the person is licensed in good standing, and the other state's requirements are similar to Minnesota's.

Practical Notes
If you hold a real estate license in another state, you may be able to get a Minnesota license without completing all the normal education and exam requirements. Check with the Minnesota Department of Commerce to see if your state has a reciprocity agreement.
