§ 84A.42 — Rules Violation; Misdemeanor

Anyone who knowingly breaks a DNR rule inside a reforestation project area commits a misdemeanor. This applies to projects established under section 84A.31.
84A.42 RULES VIOLATION; MISDEMEANOR.
A person who within the limits of any project established in accordance with section 84A.31 willfully violates a rule of the Department of Natural Resources adopted under sections 84A.31 to 84A.42 is guilty of a misdemeanor.

Practical Notes
If you willfully violate any DNR rule while in a reforestation project area, you can be charged with a misdemeanor. This can result in fines and possibly jail time. Make sure you know and follow all posted rules.
